Helly Hansen Merino Baselayer

An essential part of your outdoor kit is a base layer. A baselayer isn't just about warmth — it's about the regulation of moisture. When you sweat, moisture forms against your skin, so in cold weather this will make you feel even colder. A base layer's main job is to wick moisture away from the skin, keeping it dry and keeping you warmer.
Helly Hansen are synonymous with base layers — so much so that we often just call a base layer "a Helly". The Helly Hansen Merino Baselayer is 57% merino wool, 43% polypropylene. This combines the thermal warmth of merino wool on the outside with the wicking properties of polypropylene on the inside, to keep you warm, dry and comfortable.
