The Ultra Quasar tent from Terra Nova is at the cutting edge of low-weight, reliable mountain tents. A fully geodesic design means it's exceptionally stable and can cope with extreme weather conditions from any angle. Combined with its reasonably light packed weight of 3.12kg, it's often the tent of choice for adventure racing.
The "Ultra" is an evolution of the original Quasar design — the inner tent has been given an overhaul for improved ventilation, reduced weight and a light, airy feel. The guyline system has also been improved for faster and more secure anchoring.
